FOR HOT & COLD WATER
‘Kelvin’ CPVC Pipes and fittings are manufactured from one of the best materials in the world. The pipes are manufactured as per IS 15778:2007 and fittings are manufactured as per ASTM D-2846. We manufacture pipes ranging from ½” to 2” in SDR 11 and SDR 13.5. We also manufacture a wide range of injection molded fittings.
BEST CPVC PLUMBING PIPES AND FITTINGS
WHY
KELVIN CPVC PIPES AND FITTINGS?
1. No Corrosion, scaling, leakage, and pitting
Kelvin CPVC Pipe Fittings have excellent corrosion resistance thereby preventing contamination, bad odor, bad taste, and no water discoloration. CPVC piping systems are unaffected by corrosive soils, salty coastal air, and low pH of water, hence there is no corrosive by-product released in water.
2. Lowest Bacterial Growth
The bacterial growth in Kelvin CPVC pipes and fittings is much low than compared to other piping systems like steel, copper, Polypropylene (PP), and other thermoplastics.
3. Fire Retardant
Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) is the percentage of oxygen needed in an atmosphere to support combustion. CPVC has a very high LOI of 60. And Earth’s atmosphere contains only 21% oxygen, hence CPVC will not burn unless the constant flame is applied and will stop burning as soon as flam is removed.
4. Can Withstand Heat Up To 82°C
CPVC can withstand high temperatures when compared to other thermoplastics. Kelvin CPVC Piping system is designed for a longer duration.
Uses of CPVC Pipes and Fittings
CPVC pipe is made up of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) plastic. It is available in various diameters and lengths. It is also flexible and durable.
CPVC pipes and fittings are used in many different ways. One common application is as part of a water distribution system. In this case, CPVC pipes and fittings are used to transport water from one point to another. This includes pipes that carry water from a city main line to individual homes.
Another common application is as part of a fire sprinkler system. Here, CPVC pipes and fittings are installed throughout a building to provide an adequate flow rate of water when needed. In conclusion, CPVC pipe is a versatile material that can be used in a variety of plumbing projects.
